MEDITATION SESSIONS

A serene session, four times a day.

Each visit is paced, respectful, and practical—guided meditation, gentle teaching, and time to ask questions without pressure.

WHAT HAPPENS

Quiet structure.

Sessions are designed for visitors—simple instructions, attentive guidance, and enough silence to actually feel the mind settle.

05:45–07:30Silent meditation: breathing and walking

Sitting meditation that focuses on the breath, and walking meditation with slow, mindful steps to calm the mind and bring awareness to the body. These are core practices in the Theravada Buddhist tradition. A monk is on hand to guide you.

09:00–10:45Guided tour and meditation

A guided tour of the monastery, followed by guided meditation (including loving-kindness and breathing practice) and time for questions.

15:30–18:00Tour, viewpoint and introduction

A guided tour including the viewpoint, guided meditation (loving-kindness and breathing), time for questions, and a short introduction to Buddhism. The session ends with tea and informal conversation.

20:00–21:00Silent meditation

A quiet hour of silent meditation to close the day.

Private discussion (on request)

A private discussion with a monk can be requested during 09:00–11:00 and 13:00–20:00.

FOR BEGINNERS

No experience needed.

If you’re new, that’s okay. We begin with basics—posture, attention on the breath, and a gentle introduction to loving-kindness. Questions are welcomed in a calm, respectful way.

FOR TRAVELLERS

A meaningful pause.

Many visitors arrive carrying noise—busy plans, long drives, restless thoughts. This is a simple place to pause, listen, and leave with something practical you can carry into daily life.
